He completed his specialization in the clinic of cardiovascular surgery at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He has been involved in cases of adult peripheral vascular surgery, abdominal aortic aneurysm surgery, aorto-occlusive disease surgery, varicose vein surgery, carotid surgery, as well as lung surgery, emergency thoracic surgery, and cardiac surgery.

In 2001, he played a role in establishing the Cardiovascular Surgery clinic at SSK Süreyyapaşa Hospital and contributed to the establishment of cardiac surgery. Additionally, he performed the first surgeries in the establishment of Cardiovascular Surgery at Giresun State Hospital and Sinop State Hospital under Prof. Dr. Ali Fedakar.

Between 2003-2005, he worked as a consultant surgeon at Private Switzerland Hospital, and between 2005-2017, he served as a consultant Adult Cardiac Surgeon at Koşuyolu Heart Hospital. Throughout his tenure, he performed approximately 4,000 open-heart surgeries. He was part of the heart transplant team at Kartal Koşuyolu Training and Research Hospital between 2010-2015, performing the heart retrieval process from donors for about 40 transplant patients and serving as the Primary Surgeon for heart transplant surgery in 8 patients.
