Place of First Resort for Diagnostics & Initial Treatment
As one of the most essential departments indispensable to the quality policy, mission and vision that Hisar Intercontinental Hospital has been pursuing ever since its foundation, the Emergency Department is the place of first resort for the diagnostic and initial treatment of all kinds of medical emergencies.
Our hospital’s emergency department employs state-of-the-art medical technologies of the 21st century both in diagnostic and therapeutic terms, while our emergency physicians, nurses and allied health personnel receive continuous visual, hands-on and written in-service training to keep their knowledge up to date at all times.
First Response starts at the gates
We use mobile bedside monitors that can be moved to serve each patient in place and constantly monitor their vitals. We make sure that every patient gets a consultation as soon as possible with a physician who is specialized or has an academic career in the relevant branch. Location of the Emergency Department’s entrance area allows for easy recognition of patients whose condition is too severe to walk in by themselves, in which case we immediately succor with a stretcher or wheelchair to start giving the necessary medical care right at the gates.
Our department includes a resuscitation room where we have available all kinds of emergency drugs and medical equipment that could possibly be necessary for emergency care, a trauma room that has direct connection to the office of the Director of Orthopedics and Traumatology, an injection and wound dressing room, and a minor surgical intervention room. Along with these, we also have an 8-bed examination/medical observation room equipped with a bedside technologic system where our physicians can carry out their bedside examinations without the need to carry about any medical instruments.
