Dr. Mahmut Güngör was born on 26.03.1977 in Silifke, Mersin. He graduated from İcel Anatolian High School in 1995. He completed his medical education at İzmir Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and received the title of Obstetrician and Gynecologist from the same university’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2008. In 2018, he started working in Istanbul as a Perinatology Specialist at Istanbul Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. He is fluent in advanced English and German. His areas of interest include the evaluation of fetuses in the womb via ultrasound at 11-14 and 20-24 weeks of pregnancy, assessment of fetal hearts with Fetal Echo, management of high-risk pregnancies such as developmental delays and excess or deficiency of amniotic fluid, and determining the timing of delivery.
