In our hospital's Oncology Department;

• The most appropriate form of treatment is planned by taking into account factors such as the type and stage of the cancer, the patient's age, any other diseases, personal preferences and private life.

• Through our multidisciplinary approach, we aim to minimize problems that may arise during treatment, such as infection, kidney failure, heart failure and nutritional disorders.

• In addition to screening tests for people at risk of cancer, regular follow-up and information are provided.

Treatment Options Offered at Our Hospital

Cancer can be treated surgically by specialist surgeons working in the General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery departments. Surgery is the method of first choice in the early stages of cancer.

Chemotherapy aims to kill cancer cells with medication. Chemotherapy is usually given intravenously as a fluid or orally as tablets. However, depending on the patient's general condition, inpatient treatment can also be provided.

Hormone therapy aims to control the hormones that cancer cells need in order to grow. The medications are usually given orally as tablets.

Immunotherapy is one of the most up-to-date treatment methods. It aims to stop the growth of cancer cells by strengthening the body's immune system.
