Check-Up to Maintain Your Overall Balance
For lifelong health, it is very important to follow the five golden rules — a healthy and balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, regular exercise, a stress-free emotional balance and good-quality sleep — and to take early precautions against the physiological problems that emerge as we age. If a disease is present before any symptoms appear, it can be detected through screenings. With early diagnosis, it can be treated before it progresses and without disrupting your comfort. To prevent all of this, it is necessary to receive preventive healthcare. We offer preventive healthcare services, through which we aim to maintain the balance of these five golden rules and ensure the continuity of your health, with our expert team and the quality of Hisar Hospital Intercontinental.
Find Out Your Predisposition to Diseases
With personalized preventive healthcare, age-related risk analyses and health screenings based on family history of a disease and genetic predispositions are vitally important. With genetic screening check-up programs, you can learn about the genetic diseases you carry, your predispositions and the diseases that may be passed on to your child through genes; by taking the necessary precautions in advance, you can live a healthier life.

General Health Screenings
General health screening is a general health check-up consisting of examinations and tests performed on people without complaints in order to detect early certain diseases that may be present silently, keeping your health under control throughout your life. General health screening aims to keep us healthy by taking the necessary precautions before diseases appear, because preventing any disease is much easier than treating it. Examinations and tests performed on people without complaints can detect some problems that are still hidden. Preventive measures can be taken, or the progression of diseases can be halted through early diagnosis.
At Hisar Hospital Intercontinental, we offer personalized check-up programs, designed according to age and gender, for the diagnosis and treatment of insidiously progressing diseases. With these programs, which you choose according to your personal needs, age, gender and predisposition to various diseases, all your examinations and screenings are completed within a single day.

Nutrition Counseling
Nutrition is one of the most important factors for human health, from life in the womb to the end of life. Adequate and balanced nutrition is defined as the intake of the nutrients people need to grow, develop, sustain their lives and carry out their activities in the best possible way. In Nutrition Counseling, after the person's eating habits and body composition are analyzed, a nutrition program is prepared addressing issues such as poor food choices, insufficient fluid intake, high consumption of fatty foods, excessive tea and coffee consumption and vitamin deficiencies, and a plan for reaching the ideal weight is created.
With a device called a “metabolic Holter”, we can measure your level of activity in daily life and calculate your MET value. This value gives us direct information about your body and exercise history. The device detects temperature changes in your body with its heat sensors and moments of activity with its motion sensors, records them and provides your overall MET value. It is a method used to measure, as accurately as possible, the physical activity level of the person's real life.

Disease Predisposition Counseling
Detecting unknown and insidiously progressing diseases in advance is quite difficult. Disease predisposition screenings involve detecting diseases genetically passed down in the family through personalized laboratory tests and imaging methods, identifying any existing risk and taking early precautions.
Services Offered by the Disease Predisposition Counseling Unit of the Lifelong Health Clinic
Diagnosis and Treatment of Insulin Resistance
Many scientific studies point to a link between insulin resistance and cancer. This allows us to act early and take precautions through lifestyle changes and diet and exercise habits before disease develops. Alternatively, based on our physicians' assessment, treatment options suited to you are created in line with current treatment algorithms.
Thyroid Diseases
Thyroid diseases have a genetic component. As with any disease, if someone in your family has a thyroid disease, your likelihood of developing one may also be high. Symptoms such as excessive fatigue and irritability, weight gain, rapid weight loss, sweating, heat intolerance, cold intolerance, muscle pain and difficulty concentrating may indicate a thyroid problem. A family history of thyroid cancer or thyroid diseases (Hashimoto's thyroiditis, thyroid nodules, goiter, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Graves' disease) poses a high risk for this disease.
Gut Flora Screening
In gut flora screening, gut flora analysis or Candida analysis can be performed for patients who need it. In cases of persistent bloating, abdominal pain, gas problems, constipation or diarrhea, a holistic evaluation is carried out together with our gastroenterology clinic.
Food Intolerance Tests
Food allergies may be a cause of conditions such as migraine, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, fibromyalgia, muscle pain, bloating and constipation. Food intolerance tests are performed when these symptoms occur.
Genetic Predisposition Test
Many diseases are passed down through generations by genetic inheritance. For many known hereditary diseases, such as Familial Mediterranean Fever, diabetes, breast cancer, colon cancer and blood cancers, these risks are identified with genetic predisposition tests.
Dermocosmetics and Anti-Aging
With treatments performed by a team specialized in cosmetic dermatology using advanced technology, you can keep your skin health under control and prevent the negative effects of aging early on.
Anti-Aging Therapies (Skin Rejuvenation)
Anti-aging therapies include skin rejuvenation procedures. Over time, excessive exposure to sun, air pollution, stress and smoking causes wear and tear on the skin. To minimize the effects of these factors, skin rejuvenation therapies are applied following a personalized skin analysis.
Fillers
Filler treatment helps eliminate wrinkles on the skin and adds volume to specific areas, making them more prominent.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a procedure in which various substances (amino acids, mineral salts, coenzymes, hyaluronic acid, vitamins) are injected into the skin to achieve brighter, renewed skin.
Chemical Peeling
A procedure performed with chemicals applied to the skin to reduce the appearance of makeup residue on the skin and marks such as acne or blackheads on the face.
H100 Youth Vaccine
The H-100 vaccine is a trending skin rejuvenation cocktail of recent years containing 15 different active ingredients, for those who complain of loss of elasticity, wrinkles, excessive dryness and loss of moisture on the face, neck, double chin, décolleté and backs of the hands, and for those who want a more vibrant and radiant appearance.

MEDICAL EXERCISE COUNSELING
The stress people experience in social life, their eating habits and the illnesses they have can reduce both their health and their quality of life. To improve quality of life and prevent a sedentary lifestyle in conjunction with the regulation of eating habits, personalized medical exercise counseling programs are created. In medical exercise counseling, our professional team of academic staff provides exercise counseling compatible with personalized nutrition programs.
In addition to personalized exercise planning, some tests are performed for posture disorders and body composition analysis. Based on the results of these tests, the program the person needs is determined.

Psychological Counseling
Psychotherapy is a talking therapy carried out with a professional specialist in the field (a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist). It is a form of treatment with sessions lasting up to 50 minutes which, held at regular intervals with follow-up, can help bring about healing and improvement in a person's life.
Psychotherapy aims to help you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with a healthy perspective and coping skills. It is a supportive method in the treatment of psychiatric illnesses such as depression and bipolar disorder, eating disorders (anorexia or bulimia), binge eating disorder, personality disorders, addiction (alcohol, drug and nicotine addiction…), and anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, panic disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Psychological counseling gives you the opportunity to share the feelings, thoughts, behaviors and memories you want to talk about regarding your life — in short, everything about yourself you wish to share — in a trustworthy environment where you are the focus. Psychotherapy can also be defined as a process in which you try to find the source of, and possible solutions to, problems related to your psychological health — in other words, the situations that keep you from enjoying life and challenge you in your daily life.

Alternative Therapies
Alternative therapies include methods used to treat persistent pain in the spine and joints. These treatments are applied by doctors with specialist certification in the field and can provide relief or recovery without the need for surgery.
Alternative therapies consist of methods that provide rapid recovery within a short time through specific, regular sessions. Treatment involves applying manual stretching, elongation and similar movements to problem areas, based on analyses made by specialist doctors following specific tests. In these treatments, the doctor determines the number of sessions according to the person's condition.
Hyperbaric Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a treatment method based on breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. It is used for chronic and emergency medical conditions associated with tissue hypoxia (oxygen deficiency). During HBOT, the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood rises to 10–15 times normal, depending on the pressure. The amount of oxygen carried by the blood to tissues and cells also increases. In this way, pathologies caused by hypoxia at the cellular level are treated.
Paradoxically, compared with the high oxygen level (hyperoxia) reached during treatment, the normal oxygen level after treatment remains relatively low, creating a hypoxic-hyperoxic paradox. This stimulates the formation of new capillaries, and a new capillary circulation network (angiogenesis) forms in the tissues.
Mitochondria are the primary energy producers found in each of our body's cells. With age, the number of mitochondria and the efficiency of each mitochondrion's function decrease, leading to reduced cellular function and degenerative changes. Both animal and human studies have shown that HBOT can improve reduced mitochondrial function in different parts of our body, including the injured brain.
Ozone Therapy
The body's natural defense mechanisms maintain its natural balance by fighting the harmful oxidants and cells that form every day. General or local weakening of the body's antioxidant mechanisms, reduced tissue oxygenation and the subsequent oxidative damage can lead to cell deterioration and the development of disease. Today, ozone is used in the treatment of many diseases, especially open and infected wounds, skin ulcers, diabetes and its complications, certain cardiovascular, orthopedic and dental problems, and chronic infections.
Ozone therapy is used in the treatment of commonly encountered, drug-resistant conditions such as rheumatism, chronic fatigue and pain. In these diseases, ozone therapy is used as a curative treatment or as a complementary and supportive treatment alongside established treatment methods. In addition, supportive ozone therapy applied during chemotherapy to strengthen the immune system of patients receiving chemotherapy helps them tolerate the side effects of chemotherapy.
Ozone therapy should be performed in specific doses following an individual assessment of each patient, choosing the appropriate method among the different application methods. It must be performed by a doctor specialized in this field who holds an ozone application certificate approved by the Ministry of Health.
Neural Therapy
As a result of traumas experienced in social life, all stimuli accumulate in the nervous system over time. These accumulations cause electrical damage in the person. After a while, these stimuli manifest as chronic pain. Neural therapy makes it possible to relieve this pain. The method is applied with local anesthetic agents, and the number of sessions varies according to the person's recovery.
Dry Needling
Dry needling, also known as intramuscular stimulation (IMS), is a non-surgical, drug-free pain treatment method used to treat pain associated with chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Applied with thin needles of various lengths, dry needling relaxes the muscle contractions that cause pain by stimulating them with the needle. Because the needles used contain no drug or solution, it is called dry needling, and it does not cause allergic reactions, drug interactions or drug-related side effects. Dry needling (IMS) can be applied alone or in combination with other treatments after the person has been examined and a diagnosis has been made using laboratory and imaging methods.
Although the needles used in dry needling (IMS) are acupuncture needles, dry needling is not an acupuncture method. In acupuncture, needles are inserted into specific, predetermined points and left in place for about 20 minutes, whereas in dry needling the points causing pain are identified, and needles are inserted into these points at different depths and removed immediately. While the effect of acupuncture is not immediate, the effect of dry needling is observed right away. The number of sessions varies from patient to patient, depending on the disease and its duration. Sometimes a single session is enough, but on average 5–8 sessions are required.
