Op. Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu began his medical career at Samsun 19 Mayıs University and joined the academic staff of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute in 2015, completing his specialization in 2020. During this process, Gençoğlu actively participated in approximately 3,000 cases; he has been involved in adult heart and vascular disease surgeries, including adult coronary artery disease, heart valve diseases (aortic-mitral-tricuspid), aortic surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral vascular diseases, venous insufficiency (varicose veins), and deep vein thrombosis. In 2021, he re-established cardiac surgery at Batman Education and Research Hospital and served as the chief of the open-heart surgery clinic for two years. In 2023, Op. Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu briefly worked at Istanbul Çam and Sakkura City Hospital and is currently serving his patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental Heart and Vascular Surgery Department.
