Şule Karadayı

Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı a effectué ses études de médecine à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université d’Ankara. Elle a ensuite achevé sa formation de spécialisation en chirurgie thoracique au Département de chirurgie thoracique de la même faculté et a obtenu le titre de spécialiste en chirurgie thoracique en 2004. Expérimentée notamment en chirurgie du cancer du poumon, ainsi qu’en chirurgie robotique Da Vinci, chirurgie thoracique mini-invasive (fermée), nodules pulmonaires, maladies médiastinales, maladies pleurales, chirurgie de la paroi thoracique et traitements bronchoscopiques interventionnels, Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı a joué un rôle actif tout au long de sa carrière académique et professionnelle, tant dans les pratiques chirurgicales avancées que dans les travaux scientifiques. Après sa formation de spécialisation, elle a travaillé successivement à l’Hôpital privé Güven, à l’Hôpital de formation et de recherche Atatürk des maladies thoraciques et de chirurgie thoracique, à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université Cumhuriyet, à l’Hôpital d’application et de recherche d’Adana de l’Université Başkent et à l’Hôpital de formation et de recherche Şişli Hamidiye Etfal de l’Université des Sciences de la Santé (SBÜ). Elle a poursuivi sa carrière académique à la Faculté de médecine de l’Université Cumhuriyet, où elle a obtenu les titres de professeur assistant, professeur associé et professeur ; pendant de nombreuses années, elle a mené avec succès des interventions avancées de chirurgie thoracique parallèlement à la formation des étudiants en médecine et des médecins en spécialisation. Attachant une grande importance au développement professionnel international, Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı a effectué en 2005 un stage d’observation auprès de Prof. Dr. Ramon Rami Porta à l’Hospital Mutua de Terrassa, en Espagne ; en 2009, elle a suivi une formation à Vienne dans le cadre du programme Travel Fellowship de l’European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS) ; et en 2015, elle a participé à des activités académiques à l’Université de médecine d’Azerbaïdjan dans le cadre du programme d’échange de membres du corps enseignant Mevlana. Ses travaux scientifiques étant particulièrement axés sur le cancer du poumon et la chirurgie thoracique, la thèse de spécialisation de Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı est intitulée « Effet de l’infiltration du tissu tumoral par les cellules Natural Killer sur le pronostic du cancer du poumon non à petites cellules de stade I ». Elle a également exercé comme chercheuse principale adjointe dans des projets de recherche scientifique soutenus par l’université portant sur la cicatrisation et l’évaluation des ganglions lymphatiques médiastinaux dans le diagnostic du cancer du poumon. Outre son expérience en chirurgie thoracique, elle applique des approches modernes, précises et mini-invasives dans le traitement chirurgical des maladies pulmonaires et médiastinales au moyen de la chirurgie robotique Da Vinci. Elle possède également une expérience des traitements bronchoscopiques interventionnels, notamment du traitement par valve endobronchique (ballon BPCO) utilisé chez les patients atteints d’emphysème avancé et de BPCO. Au cours de sa carrière professionnelle, Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı a participé à de nombreux congrès scientifiques nationaux et internationaux. Elle est membre de la Société turque de chirurgie thoracique, de la Société turque de thoracologie, de la Société turque de recherche respiratoire, de l’Association turque du cancer du poumon et de l’European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS). Depuis 2026, Prof. Dr. Şule Karadayı reçoit des patients au Hisar Hospital Intercontinental et propose des services de diagnostic, de traitement et de chirurgie dans les domaines de la chirurgie du cancer du poumon, de la chirurgie robotique Da Vinci, de la chirurgie thoracique mini-invasive, des nodules pulmonaires, des maladies médiastinales, des maladies pleurales, des maladies de la paroi thoracique et du traitement par ballon BPCO (valve endobronchique).
