Specialist Dr. Emine ÖMÜR

Specialist Dr. Emine ÖMÜR completed her medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) and has continued her professional career, shaped by a strong academic background, by specializing in hyperbaric medicine.

Beginning her professional life with emergency service practice after graduation, she has worked in the emergency departments of İshakoğlu Çayeli State Hospital and Istanbul Haseki Training and Research Hospital, gaining strong clinical experience in the management of acute and critical patients.

She completed her specialization training at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine; during this period, she spent one month as an observer at the National Centre for Hyperbaric Medicine Medical University of Gdansk to enhance her international clinical experience. She gained experience particularly in diving medicine, decompression sickness, and advanced hyperbaric treatment protocols.

After her specialization, she completed her compulsory service at Istanbul Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital and continued her work at the same institution, maintaining her active clinical practice in a wide patient group that falls under the indications for hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

MEDICAL INTERESTS

She is also competent in assessing fitness for diving and issuing health reports for professional divers; she has experience in diving physiology and pressure-related pathologies.

Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, Specialist Dr. Emine ÖMÜR evaluates her patients from a holistic perspective by working in coordination with the departments of infectious diseases, orthopedics, plastic surgery, ENT, and neurology.

Specialist Dr. Emine ÖMÜR currently accepts patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental, meticulously conducting scientifically-based and safe treatment processes in all indications of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
