Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Evrim EKİN completed her medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 1993 and 1999 and continued her professional career, shaped on strong academic foundations, by specializing in the field of radiology. She completed her residency training in 2003 at İzmir Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital; she also worked in the Radiology Department of Ege University Faculty of Medicine between 2002 and 2003.
In the post-specialization period, she gained experience in a wide patient population by working in public and private healthcare institutions; she worked at Bozüyük State Hospital and Private Eskişehir Sakarya Hospital between 2003 and 2014. During this process, she took an active role in all areas of diagnostic radiology, particularly deepening her clinical practice in breast imaging and musculoskeletal radiology.
As of 2014, she started working at the Radiology Clinic of Istanbul Taksim Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital, where she took on active clinical and academic responsibilities for 10 years. In 2019, she received the title of Associate Professor; she served as the Education Coordinator and Administrative Responsible in the Radiology Education Clinic, managing the education processes of specialty students and actively participating in the coordination of academic organization and clinical workflow.
In the scientific field, she has published research in international SCI and SCI-E indexed journals, has numerous oral presentations at national and international congresses, and has served as a journal referee. In 2020, she successfully completed the “Fundamentals of Good Clinical Practices” training, certifying her competence in clinical research and scientific ethics processes.

Additionally, she has experience in advanced imaging analyses of sports injuries, degenerative joint diseases, and soft tissue pathologies in the field of musculoskeletal radiology.
