Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz KARA was born in Antalya in 1987. He graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2011. In 2016, he completed his residency training at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in Kayseri.
Between 2016–2018, he worked as a specialist physician at Kastamonu State Hospital, and between 2018–2020 at Konya Training and Research Hospital. In 2020, he began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University. In April 2024, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor.
Throughout his career as a specialist and academician, he has worked with numerous children, adolescents, and families in the fields of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Speech Disorders, Specific Learning Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and related areas.
