Neonatal Intensive Care
Personnel of our unit consist of neonatal intensivist, nurses and breastfeeding consultant. Our team delivers all medical and surgical services required for babies round the clock in cooperation with other departments. All treatments needed by our babies are performed in our unit and our families are informed at all phases of the treatment. Our families are enabled and promoted to spend time with their babies throughout their stay at the intensive care unit and thus, our kids are not only provided medical support, but they are also supported to feel the affection of their parents.

Capacity of Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- The unit with a capacity of 8 beds in total is equipped with
- 6 incubators
- 4 mechanical ventilators
- 2 open intervention beds
- 8 patient monitors that enable supervision of all vital functions and the ability to monitor all vital functions in central system
- 2 fully-equipped transport incubators with a ventilator
- Isolation room
- Pyxis drug control system
- 6 phototherapy devices
- 2 oxygen, dry air and aspiration systems with pendant system for each incubator

Our unit admits babies also from other hospitals. The intensive care means are provided by 1 Pediatrician and 2 Nurses during transport of the sick baby from the other hospital. Neonatal and pediatric care services are delivered in single-patient intensive care rooms in the general intensive care unit with 20 beds for babies who need intensive care due to poisoning, accident, surgery or severe disease.
