Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basri Çakıroğlu graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at 19 Mayıs University and completed his Urology residency training at Taksim Education and Research Hospital. He has been serving in the field of urology for over 25 years. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çakıroğlu has concentrated his career particularly in the fields of Endourology, Pediatric Urology, Urooncology, Andrology, and Infertility, successfully performing numerous operations in these areas. He has specialized in advanced urological interventions such as laparoscopic surgery, prostate, and bladder cancer surgery. Additionally, he accelerates the recovery process of his patients by using minimally invasive surgical techniques, achieving more effective results with less invasive methods.
Since 2005, he has been working as a urology physician at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basri Çakıroğlu is also a lecturer at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, contributing to medical education by sharing his knowledge and experience with young medical candidates.
Having participated in many international studies after his specialization, Çakıroğlu has made significant contributions to the literature by publishing articles in international journals indexed by SCI/SCI-E. Through these works, he has pioneered developments in the field of urology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Basri Çakıroğlu has numerous published articles in both international and national journals and continuously updates his professional knowledge through congresses and symposiums. He is also an active member of several medical associations.
