Assoc. Dr. Tarık Akar graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Ankara University Medical Faculty and worked at the Gastroenterology Clinic of Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital after passing the Internal Medicine subspecialty exam. He has conducted studies on advanced endoscopic procedures such as POEM, ESD, STER, and POETRA at Korea University Medical Faculty and CHA Medical Center, which are among the most advanced procedures performed worldwide in the field of Gastroenterology.
