PROF. SÜLEYMAN İPEKÇİ, M.D.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman İpekçi, who has made numerous successful contributions in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolism, is the recipient of the 2014 National Diabetes Congress, Diabetes Mellitus Best Scientific Publication Award, first and third place, and the 2014 Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine, Internal Medicine Sciences Assistant Professors Publication First Prize.

In his career, he is particularly interested in diseases such as Diabetes, Thyroid and Diabetes Diseases, Thyroid Cancers, Pituitary Diseases, Adrenal Gland Diseases, and Hormonal Disorders.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman İpekçi has published 42 scientific articles in international scientific journals and 16 articles in Turkish journals. He has given 16 panel/conference talks at scientific congresses. He has participated in 45 congresses domestically and 15 congresses abroad, with a total of 80 presentations published. His publications have received 230 citations internationally. He has served as a reviewer for 65 scientific articles. He has worked as a principal investigator/researcher in a total of 8 national and international scientific projects, including two TÜBİTAK projects. He has also served as a jury member for twenty-nine specialization thesis jury/examination panels. He has participated in numerous national and international scientific training and certification programs.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman İpekçi provides services to his patients at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental, Endocrinology and Metabolism Diseases Department.
