Prof. Dr. Basri Çakıroğlu graduated from 19 Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Taksim Training and Research Hospital. He has practiced urology for more than 25 years. His clinical interests include endourology, pediatric urology, uro-oncology, andrology, and infertility, and he has performed numerous procedures in these fields. He specializes in advanced urological procedures, including laparoscopic surgery and surgery for prostate and bladder cancer. He also uses minimally invasive techniques to support recovery and achieve effective outcomes. Using the advanced da Vinci robotic surgical system, he performs radical prostatectomy with high precision through a minimally invasive approach.
Since 2005, Prof. Dr. Basri Çakıroğlu has worked as a urologist at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental. He also teaches at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, sharing his knowledge and experience with future physicians and contributing to medical education.
After completing his specialization, Prof. Dr. Çakıroğlu participated in numerous international studies and contributed to the literature through articles published in SCI/SCI-E indexed journals. He continues to update his professional knowledge by attending congresses and symposia and is an active member of several medical associations.
