The PRP method can provide a solution without the need for surgery for problems such as sagging and wrinkles in the external genital area that develop with aging in women, loss of sexual desire, and painful intercourse.
In PRP, the person's own blood is processed
Platelet (thrombocyte) rich plasma, meaning plasma rich in platelets. The person's own blood is drawn and processed, and a certain portion of this blood is then injected back into the areas requested. Blood is drawn from the person and processed by centrifugation, and then the liquid part is applied to the desired area under local anesthesia. Afterward, there is no need for a restriction on sexual intercourse. Daily life can be resumed immediately. It can be repeated when deemed necessary.
Increases collagen and provides rejuvenation in the desired area
Platelet-rich plasma is the liquid part of the blood that contains growth factors in a very high concentration. When injected into the desired areas of the body, these platelets release hormones related to growth, repair and rejuvenation contained within them. Growth factors released from the platelets, together with thrombin, substances that stimulate the development of new blood vessels, calcium chloride, collagen and similar substances, stimulate the tissue cells called fibroblasts in that area, causing new collagen to be synthesized and thus strengthening the connective tissue. Thus, tissue revitalization in that area, together with increased collagen, provides rejuvenation, strengthening and plumping of that area.
Daily life can be resumed after the procedure
Blood is drawn from the person and processed by centrifugation, and then the liquid part is applied to the desired area under local anesthesia. Afterward, there is no need for a restriction on sexual intercourse. Daily life can be resumed immediately. It can be repeated when deemed necessary.
Provides increased comfort in sexual life
Deformation, i.e., widening, of the vagina can also be seen in young patients who have never given birth. This is caused by the structure of the body's collagen tissue. Surgical methods, as well as laser and radiofrequency methods, are still used for this condition. After this procedure, medical problems can be resolved, and a significant increase in comfort in sexual life is also provided.
Used for many problems in gynecology
PRP is used in medicine in a wide variety of fields, such as facial rejuvenation, wound healing, burn treatment, sports injuries, and meniscus treatment. In gynecology, it is mostly used for problems related to sexual health, such as:
- Inability to reach orgasm,
- For problems such as sexual disinterest, or to increase sexual pleasure,
- In resolving vaginal dryness, which may occur during or before menopause,
- Frequently recurring vaginal infections,
- It is used in the healing and resolution of wounds caused by childbirth.
It also provides a solution for the problem of urinary incontinence
It can be used for rejuvenation by providing a tighter and fuller appearance of the genital area, vaginal tightening, color lightening, and treatment of urinary incontinence.. Apart from these, it has also produced successful results in the treatment of a condition that presents with severe pain at the vaginal entrance and external labia and is called vulvodynia in medical terminology. Due to childbirth or aging, a weakness of collagen and loosening of tissues also occur around the urinary tract. By applying PRP to these areas, the tissues are strengthened, and the newly formed collagen tissue strengthens the supporting tissue around the urinary outflow channels, increasing success in the treatment of urinary incontinence.
The PRP method can provide a solution without the need for surgery for problems such as sagging and wrinkles in the external genital area that develop with aging in women, loss of sexual desire, and painful intercourse.
